Originally from Bartlett, Illinois, Justin Fitch maintains an active music career as a pianist, organist, and singer. Serving as the Director of Music and Communications at Luther Place Church in Washington, D.C., he strives to spread the Light wherever he goes each and every day.
Fitch graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from Austin Peay State University, where he worked for two years as a collaborative pianist in the departments of Music, Theatre, and Dance and premiered George Mabry's music drama Voices in 2015. In 2019, Fitch received an M. Mus. from the University of Marlyand, where he studied with renowned pianist and instructor Rita Sloan.
Fitch has worked as a staff pianist for voice teacher Dr. Jessica McCormack at the Interlochen Arts Camp and as a pianist/coach at the Austrian-American Mozart Academy in Salzburg.
Pianist and singer, Fitch is not always behind the piano. He studied voice for four years at APSU under Lisa-Conklin Bishop and Jeffrey Williams. In APSU opera, he played the roles of Bartley in Riders to the Sea, Peter (the father) in Hansel and Gretel, and Dr. Daly in The Sorcerer. Justin was named the 2014 Presser scholar and is a member of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society and the academic honor society of Phi Kappa Phi.
Justin loves what he does and tries to share music with as many people as possible. When his schedule permits, he is also seen in the community as a wedding musician and choral accompanist.
